The 2023 Fireflies Holiday Lights season was one for the record books! Holiday lights attendance nearly DOUBLED year over year and that is all thanks to you for your support. We couldn't have hit that milestone without every single one of you! We'll see you again in 2024!
2023 Dates and Hours of Operation
Fireflies Holiday Lights at Segra Park will be open from Thursday, November 16th through December 31st.
The Lights will be closed 11/20 and 11/27 as well as Thanksgiving Day (11/23) and Christmas Day (12/25).
The Lights will be open from 6pm to 9pm every night, with last entry into the park being at 8:45pm. The lights will operate under different hours on December 31st, with special New Years Eve hours of 5pm to 8pm.
Nightly Activities
Richardson Tree Farm
Purchase the perfect Christmas Tree for your home while you're at Fireflies Holiday Lights thanks to Richardson Tree Farm! Shop while walking through the lights and then pull your car up once you have left to pick up your tree.
Open nightly on the centerfield concourse November 16th - December 17th.
Visits With Santa
Share your holiday wishes with Santa every night of Fireflies Holiday Lights! Santa will be at the lights nightly November 16th through December 23rd. Each night he will be available from 6:30 to 8:30pm to hear what's on your list this year, and take photos with the whole family in his sleigh.
Scavenger Hunt
You're invited to participate in our Holiday Lights Scavenger Hunt every night of Fireflies Holiday Lights. Do you have what it takes to find all the hidden gems in the lights? Test your skills to win a prize.
Crafts at Santa's Workshop
This holiday season, the MUSC Health Conference Room at Segra Park transformed into Santa's Workshop!
Every night at the lights, your kids can make their very own holiday craft. All crafts are powered by The Home Depot.
All Aboard the Fireflies Express!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome aboard the Fireflies Express presented by Thermal Technologies!
The newest amusement at Fireflies Holiday Lights has entered the station! The Express is for children 12 and under. One ride cost $3 per rider, and children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult. Infants under one may ride for free but must ride with a paid adult.
Rides on the train will be limited each night as the train will operate under the same hours as the lights, 6-9 pm, and cars will be filled on a first come first serve basis. The Fireflies Express features one ADA accessible car.
Ticket purchases for the ride will align with the Segra Park’s cashless policies; tickets can be purchased using any major credit or debit card at the Fireflies Express Kiosk.
Community Initiatives
TD Bank Tuesdays
Join us and TD Bank in supporting the Salvation Army this holiday season. Every Tuesday night, light attendees who bring a donation for the Salvation Army will receive a free s'mores kit thanks to TD Bank.
7 Weekends of Giving
Each weekend of Fireflies Holiday Lights we will highlight one local community organization and support them with a donation drive. Drives will take place every Thursday through Sunday. If you are attending on the weekend, please consider giving back to one of these organizations.
Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign
The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign is coming to Segra Park. The bells will be ringing every night throughout the campaign in hopes that together we can fill the kettle with cash donations for the Salvation Army.
Throughout the months of November and December, show your Fireflies Holiday Lights ticket to your server at Iron Hill Brewery to get $5 off a food purchase of $25 or more.
While you're there make sure to try out the Holiday Lights Beer Flight, designed in partnership with Iron Hill Brewery to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. This Flight features four 4oz seasonal, holiday beers, available for a limited time only.
